Tasting Notes:
This wine is an exciting addition to our repertoire and the first Meritage we have crafted in more than 32 years of winemaking. It is also a heartfelt nod to our roots. When we planted our estate vineyard in 1997, the first block was Cabernet Sauvignon, followed by Merlot. These varietals were chosen with intention, as it was the Bordeaux style wines that Alex first fell in love with.

The 2022 Estate Meritage brings those beginnings full circle. It highlights the structure and power of Cabernet Sauvignon, balanced by the plush and velvety depth of Merlot. Together, they create a wine that is elegant, expressive, and capable of aging beautifully.

 

Blend: 33% Cabernet Sauvignon, 49% Merlot, 18% Petite Verdot
Alcohol: 15.5% Alc. by Vol.

Barrel: 33% New French Oak, 67% Neutral French Oak
