Tasting Notes:
Grenache responds immediately to early-season growth conditions, which is why spring management is critical for this variety. Cooler temperatures slow shoot growth, while hillside drainage prevents excess water uptake after winter rains. Together, these conditions help control vigor and limit berry size.

Pruning and early canopy work are used to manage shoot density and ensure clusters receive adequate light without excessive exposure. This allows the vine to ripen its crop evenly and retain natural acidity as sugars develop later in the season. The 2023 vintage is especially well-suited for food. It has bright red fruit flavors and aromatics with a smooth finish.

Pair with: herb-roasted chicken, lamb meatballs, or spring vegetables prepared simply with olive oil.
