Paso Robles boasts superb eateries. This makes sense
being that we are in the heart of a wine region. You won't get ordinary
food at any of the below restaurants. The food is delicious, the
ambiance is quaint and the proprietors are almost always on hand
to ensure you have a memorable dining experience.
FRENCH CUISINE
Bistro Laurent

Bistro Laurent offers country French cooking prepared at the hands
of a master. Chef/Owner Laurent Granngien's bistro is an unpretentious
neighborhood restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere and reasonable
prices. The food is delightful and the restaurant holds the Wine
Spectator's award of excellence. Located in downtown Paso Robles,
on the corner of 12th Street and Pine Street.

This French restaurant and gourmet deli has a lot of charm. Open
for breakfast, lunch and dinner you are sure to have a wonderful
experience. They also boast a take out bakery. Located just 2 block
off the park on Park street it is easy to get to. We highly recommend
breakfast and lunch.

There is a reason why owner Ian McPhee's Grill is one of the more
popular restaurants in the North County. Their selection of appetizers
makes it hard to save room for the main course. But, don't skip the
grill because McPhee's is known for their steaks, seafood and pasta
for a reason. Delicious. The service is great and their open-air
kitchen invites a warm yet happening ambiance. Located in downtown
Templeton. Take Main Street exit and head east.

Chef/Owner Antonio Varia has brought a piece of Northern Italy
to Paso Robles. His entrées are true masterpieces. The food
is a culinary extravaganza that will entice you back whenever you
come to Paso Robles (his original location is in San Luis Obispo).
Antonio's specials are unique, numerous and exquisite. Located
in downtown Paso Robles, on the corner of 10th and Spring.

This new restaurant has taken the city by storm. Brothers, Chris
and Michael Kobayashi, had dreams as young children to open a restaurant
and the dream never faded. This neighborhood gathering spot had atmosphere
and carefully crafted seasonal menus that are wine friendly.

is charming and the food is delicious! They don't take reservations but it
is worth the wait. It is located just off the park across the street from the

will surely find delight in this Italian shop. They boast wonderful
cheeses from around the world along with sausages, stuffed mushrooms,
stuffed olives and more. This is a locals favorite destination and
should be yours, too.

This gourmet "deli" boasts everything from oriental bowls to gourmet

you can get everything here and it's delicious. Located just one
