B.B.Q. & Chocolate Tasting
Saturday, March 15th

Stop by Villicana Winery throughout the day for a culinary delight. We will be pouring our new Zinfandels along with samples of dark chocolate truffles. We are also serving a hearty BBQ lunch which includes beef ribs, potato salad, bourbon baked beans, green salad and garlic bread. We have lots going on and as always ambiance and great wine are abundant.

Far Out Wineries Zinfandel Summit

The Far Out Wineries have altered the format again for this event. We have gone back to the sit down, seminar style event featuring Zinfandels and more! This is your opportunity to taste 16 great wines in one great location and possibly even learn a thing or two! The winemakers or proprietors will form a panel to present, seminar style, a wide range of Zinfandels. Hear straight from the source the winemaking principles used in crafting and farming your favorite varietal. Determine for yourself what styles you tend to favor and re-affirm why you just can’t get enough Zinfandel!

Wine & Cheese Pairing Seminar
Saturday, April 19th from 5:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

@ Villicana Winery

Join Alex Villicana and Chef Jeff Scott, Executive Chef and trained Maitre Fromager, for an interactive and in-depth seminar designed to carefully pair two of our favorite foods: wine and cheese! Jeff is one of the foremost authorities on artisan and farmstead cheeses and has access to ultra-exclusive purveyors from around the world.

Jeff and Alex will collectively present their respective areas of expertise and together the group will explore how harmonious pairs are true chemistry! $65/pp Club Price & $75/pp Non-Club price. Reservations required as seating is limited.

Rhone wines are made for food, and the Far Out Wineries will share their food pairing secrets with you! Join the sixteen Far Out Wineries at Halter Ranch Vineyard to welcome Chef Charles Paladin Wayne for a morning of cooking, wine pairing and discussion. Chef Charlie will prepare three platters of Mediterranean tastes, each of which will be paired with a flight of Rhone-style wines: one of Rhone whites, one of Syrahs, and one of red Rhone blends. The owners and winemakers of the Far Outs will join you to speak about their wines and enjoy the food. The cost is $75 per person and seating is extremely limited. Wine Festival Weekend

Movie Under the Stars
Friday, May 16th starting at 7:00 p.m.

Experience the magic of watching a movie under the stars. Join us as Cinema E Vino transforms our lawn into a picturesque, outdoor theater for a private showing of the romantic comedy, French Kiss, starring Meg Ryan. The evening begins with wine tasting with Alex & Monica and progresses outdoors as the sun sets for the movie. As you watch the movie in comfortable lawn chairs with cashmere blankets you will be served a gourmet Tuscan style dinner in a basket that includes Antipasti, Pasta al Cartoccio, Italian Sausage & Peppers, seasonal Vegetable or fruit side, biscotti cookie and Equadorian popcorn.

It is an experience you are sure to remember. $65/pp club price; $75/pp non-club price. Reservations are required as seating is limited to 50 people.

Winemaker’s Celebration Dinner
Saturday, August 2nd

@ Villicana Winery

Join us as we christen our newly completed barrel room with an intimate winemaker’s dinner. This sit down, four course meal will celebrate bounty of the west side. Whether it be wine, olive oil, produce or meat the west side of Paso Robles is the source of artisan purveyors. We will collaborate with Pasolivo Olive Ranch and Chef Jeff Scott to present a meal that will complement our wines and truly satisfy all who attend.
